Le Piano Duo Ruban a été créé en 2016 par les pianistes japonaises Asami BENIYA-BERLIOZ et Yui KAWAI. Elles ont étudié au conservatoire de musique de Rueil-Malmaison avec les pianistes français Chantal Riou et Pascal Amoyel. Jusqu'à récemment, Asami BENIYA-BERLIOZ et Yui KAWAI se concentraient principalement sur le répertoire français tel que Saint-Saëns, Schmitt et Poulenc, mais élargissent maintenant leur horizon. En 2016, elles ont remporté le 1er Prix de musique de chambre au Concours International de Musique de Londres "Grand Prix Virtuoso", et ont été invitées à participer au concert de gala au Royal Albert Hall à Londres.

En mars 2017, elles ont été invitées à participer au concert de collecte de fonds pour le centre catholique japonais à Paris. La même année, elles ont remporté le 2ème Prix dans la catégorie « quatre mains » au concours de musique "Concours Musical de France". En juillet 2017, elles ont été sélectionnées pour participer au festival de musique d'été pour jeunes talents “MUZA KAWASAKI” à Tokyo, au Japon. En novembre 2017, elles ont remporté le 2ème Prix du Concours International de Musique "Léopold Bellan" ainsi que le 2ème Prix du Concours Musical de France, à Paris.

En 2018, elles ont remporté le 2ème Prix du Concours International « Premio citta’di Padova ». En 2019, elles ont joué le concerto de Mozart pour deux pianos avec l'orchestre de conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison.

En 2021, le Piano Duo Ruban a enregistré son premier disque « FERIA ! ». La même année, le duo a remporté le 3ème Prix de musique de chambre au « France Music Competition », et le 2ème Prix dans la catégorie quatre mains du Concours International “Clara Schumann”.

En 2022, Piano Duo Ruban a obtenu le 1er Prix de musique de chambre au Concours International de musique “Tiziano Rossetti”, le 1er Prix dans la catégorie à quatre mains au Concours International de Musique “Gloria Artis” , le 3ème Prix dans la catégorie à quatre mains à la “London Classical Music Competition”. En 2023, elles ont remporté le 1er Prix du concours “VIVALDI International Music Comeptition”, le 1er Prix à l’unanimité dans le catégorie quatre mains à la “Gabriel Fauré Music World Competition” et finalement le 2ème Prix au 25 concours international “PIETRO ARGENTO”.

Depuis 2023 le Piano Duo Ruban travaille avec le couple musical renommé Ludmila Berlinskaya et Arthur Ancelle.

The Piano duo Ruban was created in 2016 by japanese pianists Asami BENIYA-BERLIOZ and Yui KAWAI. Both pianists studied at the music conservatory in Rueil-Malmaison in France with renound French pianists Chantal Riou and Pascal Amoyel. Up until recently Asami BENIYA-BERLIOZ and Yui KAWAI have mainly concentrated on the French repertoire such as Saint-Saëns, Schmitt and Poulenc but are now widening their horizon. In 2016 they won the first prize at the London International Music Competition "Grand Prize Virtuoso" in chamber music and were invited to take part in the Gala concert at the world renound Royal Albert Hall in London. In March 2017 they were invited to take part in the fund-raising concert for the Japanese catholic center in Paris. The same year they won the second prize in the four hands category at the "Concours Musical de France" music competition and in July 2017 were selected to participate in the summer music festival for young talents "MUZA KAWASAKI in Tokyo in Japan. In November 2017 they won second prize in the international music competition "Léopold Bellan" in Paris.

In 2018 they won second prize in the Premio citta’di Padova international competition. In 2019 they played Mozart’s concerto for two pianos with the Rueil-Malmaison concervatory orchestra. In 2021 Piano Duo Ruban’s first CD album “FERIA!” was released. In december 2021, ​Piano Duo Ruban was awarded the third prize in chamber music at the France music competition , the second prize in the four hands category at the Clara Schumann international Competition .In 2022 Piano Duo Ruban was awarded the 1st prize in chamber music at the Tiziano Rossetti international Music Competition, the 1st Prize in the four hands category at the international Gloria Artis Music Competition,the 3rd Prize in the four hands category at the London Classical Music Competition. In 2023 Piano Duo Ruban was awarded the 1st prize at theVivaldi International Music Competition, the 1st absolute prize at the Gabriel Fauré Music World Competition, the 2nd prize at the XXV Concorso Internazionale di Musica “ Pietro Argento”.

2016年にフランスを拠点にピアノデュオを結成し、デュオとして初めて出場したInternational Music Competition ''London’'Grand Prize Virtuoso 2016の室内楽部門にて第1位を受賞し、イギリス・ロンドンのロイヤルアルバートホール（エルガールーム）にて行われた受賞者演奏会に出演。2017年３月には、パリにてパリ日本人カトリックセンター主催の東日本大震災のためのチャリティーコンサートに出演。また、フランス国際音楽ピアノコンクール(フランス)の連弾部門決勝大会において第２位を受賞。７月ミューザ川崎シンフォニーホール主催フェスタサマーミューザKAWASAKI 2017の一環の若手演奏家支援事業ミニコンサートに選出され出演し、好評を博す。11月、レオポルド・ベラン国際音楽コンクール(フランス)のピアノデュオ部門において第２位を受賞。2018年第16回パドヴァ国際音楽コンクール音楽(イタリア)連弾部門において第２位受賞(1​位なし)。2019年リュエイユ＝マルメゾン地方音楽院の学内オーケストラとモーツァルトの２台ピアノのための協奏曲を共演。2021年宗次ホールランチタイムコンサート出演し、好評を博す。１st CD FERIA! をリリース。France Music Competition第３位、クララ・シューマン国際コンクール第２位、2022年、Tiziano Rossetti国際音楽コンクール第１位、Gloria Artis国際音楽コンクール第1位受賞。London Classical Music Competition第３位受賞。2023年、ヴィヴァルディ国際音楽コンクール第1位、ガブリエル・フォーレワールド音楽コンクールに置いて満場一致の第1位、Pietro Argento国際音楽コンクール第2位を受賞。

現在、リュドミラ•ベルリンスカヤ、アルチュール・アンセルの各氏に師事。
